Last Visitors of 2017 Part 2, Enter: Brian

Brian flew in Christmas Eve. Sorry Becky:(
He literally flew in and was ferried to church for our Christmas Eve Service.

The little ones waiting to open gifts Christmas morning

Our Hawaiian Christmas tree (Norfolk Island Pine)

Santa filled stockings since I had kids home :)

Christmas Night we went down to The City Lights in Honolulu

There was an indoor display of wreaths and trees

Now, to get into the bathing suits for some snorkeling

Then there was a visit to the North Shore to see the turtles

One day we hiked the 7 mile round trip to Kaena Point and back.
There is an albatross sanctuary there as well as protected Monk Seals.

The whole family went on this next hike, even Sadie.
We did Lulumahu Falls Hike

This pic was taken by Chris and his fancy new phone!

How much can we fit in a week. Well, we're not done yet.

Dinner out at Pearl Harbor

These beautiful portrait shots were taken by Chris

We had a great time with these two, such a fun Christmas week!

Last Visitors in 2017 Gabby and Brian or But First Gabby

Gabby came first for a few weeks in the sun during a cold December back home.

First some quality time with the family at our own Hickam Dog Beach
By the way, no dogs allowed ???

What!!??

Another day, we did some kayaking on a turtle filled river in Haleiwa.

Then we walked around this little beach town.

With Creepy Baby!

And Ate, of course
Food Trucks

Free Shave us with the kayak rental :)

There was a trip to see Mermaid Cave

One of our biggest adventures was the sunrise hike to the Pillboxes

After a dark, muddy, difficult trip up the mountain, it was a pay off well worth it!

 The rainbow says it all!

We ventured to the Valley of The Temples to see Byodo-in Temple
Featured in "Lost" it was a treat for gabby

What's a trip to Hawaii without a sunset on the beach?

There was a hike with Ken along a shoreline trail

And after all, it is December...
