Our Very Own Hickam Beach

While I'm on the subject of Military beaches, How about our very own Hickam Beach!

It's not quite as wild and beautiful as some of the other beaches 

but you can watch planes taxi down the runway while you are swimming!

I went to the beach with my friend Maria and her kids Isabella and Andrew. 

I think it's only the second time I actually swam here :)

Kaneohe Marine Corp Base Beach

Another Military base beach is at Kaneohe Marine Corp Base.

This one is located on Oahu's East facing Shore. 

The base sticks way out into the Pacific providing some stunning views!

I went with my friend Khris & her two kids Dani and Jack.

It was was last outing with my friends before their move :(

The waves were spectacular that day.

Kind of makes you want to join the Marine Corp Huh?

Barber's Point Beach

We love to see new things and go new places, 

so we stopped in at Barber's Point Naval Base to check out their beach area.

This Military resort area is located on Oahu's South shore.

It was pretty deserted that day- PERFECT!

Finally got Ken's feet in the Pacific. He's more of a land guy :) 

I never want to forget how beautiful Hawaii is- 

that's one reason I'm trying to keep up on this blogging.

We are into year 2 of three now :( So much more to see!
