Ken, Chris, and I spent a week in the Adirondacks this July.
We stayed at a cottage on Pleasant Lake, a small lake, which is near Brantingham Lake.
Heather, Andy, and the kids were able to come for about 3 days.
Unfortunately none of our other kids could get away this year.
Grandma and Grandpa got to watch the kids on Sunday while Heather and Andy
went to a State trooper Graduation party in Albany. Oh and Chris helped too- a lot!
All went well except I put Cassidy's diaper on Benny at nap time. (lol) He didn't complain.
We went to the playground, played in Cassidy's pool, and went in the lake.
The cat was a great source of entertainment for Benny.
He loved playing with the laser pointer.
Cassidy found the dog fascinating, the dog found her snack fascinating.

Our first outing was to Whitaker Park in Lowville, NY
Excellent trip, except we forgot the bug spray!
Found a kind woman who cheerfully shared her deet.
We had to climb down a small gorge to get to the water.
We could stand right near the falls & stream.
Lots of adventure, including a little geocaching.
Picnic lunch |
Sadie, just before she got loose and took off into the Adirondack wilderness.
Chris ran about a mile before he caught up with her & tackled her :)
Joys of childhood!
