Friday Drive- Adirondack Vacation 3

Our last day in the Adirondacks Ken & I decided to take a drive and check out some suggested sites in the area. So many beautiful places to see. These are the places that we visited.

Otter Creek

Independence River

Black River

Constable Hall
built 1810
The Constable Family was involved in Macomb's Purchase,
which is the largest in the history of the state of New York.
It was about 3.6 million acres and almost 10% of the state.

Lyons Falls
Gould Paper Company mill opened in 1895.
The Mill soon became the largest employer in the area.
After changing hands several times the mill closed for good in 2000.

Located at the junction of Black and Moose Rivers at Lyons Falls.

Last stop-Singing Waters
Singing Waters is one of Lewis County’s
parks, located in Greig NY. Fish Creek runs through it.
I think this was my favorite stop all day!

Take a look at this video and you'll know why they call it Singing Waters.
