Soaking Up Some Culture

Danielle and I managed to fit many things into each day that she was here in Hawaii.
We started off this day at The Honolulu Art Museum.
Snagging the monthly "free day"; we feasted on culture for nothing.

I was obviously enamored with the numerous courtyards at the museum
because that's pretty much all of the pictures that I took!

There was so much light and outside space, it was truly beautiful.

We headed out for some not so free burgers that were worth every bite!

Also, some works of art!

Since we were downtown we decided to stop by Iolani's Palace,
the only Royal Palace on American soil, Home of Hawaii's last Monarchs.

Some day I'll take a tour of the inside.

Natural wonders never cease in Hawaii, Like the enormous Banyan trees!

And the beautiful sunsets.
