Up Close And Personal With A Portuguese Man-Of-War and "Lost" But Not In The Maze

A Trip to Bellows Beach proved to be a little surprising.
Danielle and I were very proud to be maneuvering the fairly high surf
when her leg started to feel a little weird.

So we got out of the water and her leg started getting red.
Come to find out she got stung by a Portuguese man-of-war.

The next day's beach visit was surprising
in a much better way.

This ocean visitor was a much more welcoming sort.

We actually had a "Lost" day and mirrored the sites that Gabby and I visited in February.

The first stop was the Others Camp, actually Camp Erdman YMCA.

This is located on the Northwest shore of Oahu, pretty remote and beautiful!

We traveled to the East to find the "Lost" beach, site of the crash.
Down a beach access path.

This is the site of Gabby & my near death experience.
We were almost washed out to sea trying to traverse these rocks!

Now, they are this far from the water!

So here's the "Lost" beach site.

The best part was the turtles, so many. We must have seen 40 sea turtles!

No swimming this time!

We were off to My favorite coffee place-

Oh and one last stop, Dole Plantation to do the world famous maze :)
