Caitlyn Lute's Wedding

The wedding in NC was for Ken's niece Caitlyn.
We were so glad to be able to go, it was wonderful to spend time with the Lute side of the family.

She was beautiful and looked so happy all day long.
She thoroughly enjoyed her day.

The girls wore hot pink.

For those who think the Montgomery/Smith side of the family has the corner on crazy-
watch Scott at his daughter's wedding!

Sunset on Sullivan Beach

One of the best things about living in Charleston was being near the beaches.
Our favorite one was Sullivan Beach (not quite as touristy)

September is a great time to go as long as you don't want to swim :)

Although I had to get my feet wet.

The sun was beginning to set and it was gorgeous.

Then we noticed the moon coming up at the same time.

It was a great day- we packed it full.
The next morning we headed for NC and the wedding.
More posts to come.

Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder-' Charleston, SC

Ken and I headed south last month for his niece Caitlin's wedding in NC. We decided to leave a few days early and visit Charleston for the first time since we left. It was a mere 3 hours further so we went!

We checked on the house (it was fine) and headed out for a day of sightseeing.
After lunch at our favorite place, where we were greeted by a hug from the waitress,
(guess we went to lunch a lot)
And after we stopped by the outlets to buy clothes because we left our wedding clothes in the closet,
Then we went downtown to enjoy the beauty!

It was a perfect day. It really made me miss living in South Carolina.
I think it will always be a favorite place to visit.
More blogs coming - yes we went to the beach!

Sadie's Walk

We may not live in the country, but our dog is pretty spoiled anyway. When we got her, she really didn't know how to be on a line. So, we took her on 3 walks a day and that has pretty much stuck- even though she can be on a line in the back yard now :) Although she does spend a lot of time sitting on the step next to the door!

At least once a day Ken or I take her back into the "woods"i.e. wooded area along the turnpike. I don't think she knows the difference. This is what her walk looks like!

Down the Street

Path to the park

Szetela Park

wooded area behind park- dirt bike heaven

Entering wooded area along turnpike

ATV's have made trails back here

wondering why I keep stopping

MASS PIKE- very loud!

This is where I reinjured my ankle- steep

pretty

Come On!

back down the path in the park

head home
Now we need to teach Sadie how to fetch and catch food in her mouth.
Someday she will be a real dog :)

This post is for Christopher, who really misses his baby!

Benny is Three

Last weekend we traveled to Heather & Andy's in Victor NY, It was Benny's three year's old birthday party. Heather had the house done-up with trucks and hazard tape. It looked really cute!

Benny had a fabulous time; Cake, presents, and lots of attention.

Benny's not the only one who got a lot of attention.
Cassidy is adorable!!!

We stayed the night- we keep telling Heather that it's too long a trip to travel back,
but what we really want is more time with the grandkids.
Sneaky Grandma!

Speaking of Grandkids- Big News...
Number 3 is on the way.
Guess Who???

Award winning picture of the day...
Already got him wrapped around her little finger.
